For those advanced players of the game, and also as a future addition after the games been released (as i understand complex things are to be added after the basic structure is built) I believe we could have a transition phase from single to multi-cellullar.

Say you start as a cell with decent offense. you have little energy, and have to hunt and fight to survive. but then you meet one of those tasty cells that focus on defense, and have a lot of energy stored away in their bodies. you come to an alliance. The storage cell supplies you with extra energy, while you defend it. soon, you both multiply and you could have a circle of defensive cells around the storage cells. eventually, the outer ring merges to create a primitive multicellullar organism.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but i haven't seen it anywhere yet.

We already have a concept for a transition stage, called Early Multicellular: here, and another thread has how our plans for how it fits in with the rest of the game, so I would suggest making suggestions which can be fitted into that concept, perhaps as an alternative method of becoming multicellular. However, I think your idea would be classed more accurately as symbiosis between two species of single-celled organisms, rather than the creation of a multicellular organism.

P.S. I still think Early Multicellular needs its own forum section, especially since it has now been independently suggested twice, and we have Aware and Awakening, which don't even have distinct differences in gameplay (as far as I know/we have planned). Someone, please just get that section made!

I dont think we should add any new stages. I see your point, but I feel both early and late multicellular are similar enough for one stage.

Danul, please do research before posting new threads to avoid making useless threads. Transition between microbe and multicellular was decided a LONG time ago, and I am surprised you failed to notice that in the wiki or in the forums.

Here is the best thread i can find on it.

I'm sorry that I didn't find that thread, i did look about a bit, but not very thoroughly.
I would like to point out that the decided transition is a bit less likely to occur realistically, as they're all the same cell, and hence woukld have troubly making a multicellullar organism capable of having organs and specialised cells. Having the defensive cells create a tissue around the other cells allows for a slightly more realistic take on the matter. after a while sharing supplies, they join and share dna, hence creating a multi cellullar organism. this is most likely (in my opinion) how most worms formed, as they simply have their skin tissue, and a tube going through the centre of cells capable of digesting food.

Although i do agree that it shouldn't be implemented till after the game has been released for some time, just so you can finish getting all the important stuff done. you could have it as a path of evolution, with alternative paths such as the one suggested in the other thread (as Uteen said).

Sorry if i seem like a pest, just interested to see where this games going. been watching it since Evolutions! came about.

EDIT: Having done some research, I discovered that I may have wasted your time, as a large amount of "multi-cellullar" formed the way you have it represented. However, only one instance that i know of actually has specialised cells, and the rest simply gather together to make clusters and support each other in food etc. this supports the theory that they may have learnt to co-exist with another cell cluster and merged to introduce diversity.

EDIT 2: The multicellullar organism i'm talking about is the "Volvox"

What you explained in your first paragraph is already covered in the thread I linked for you, and in the wiki.
