Hello. I've come across the thrive project very recently and as someone who had bought blindfoldedly the collector version of spore soon after the release and was immensely disapointed by the game, i am thrilled to be able to contribute in such an awesome project.

I'm french. I have +2 technical degree in biotechnology, 4 months of experience in biotechnology labs and i am currently in 3rt year in a vegetal and microbial biology at the university. I also have my fair share of personal lectures and self-acquired knowledge in biology. Also i sometimes play with graphic designing.

I'd also lie to introduce you to this:
This was an evolution game on /tg/ board on 4chan that i've been partially part of. The game lived for 1 and a half year in dozens of threads (which is mindboggling big considering...well 4chan). It went from 3 primitive animals in the oceans to the development of a multispecies xeno-civilzaton planet with with very original concepts for lifeform, society structures and technologies. I think it could be nice for some inspiration.

Here is the kind of stuff i made when i decided to take a species to a more detailed level in order to play them as tribesmen/civilians later.

I hope i would be able to help on this game's scientific accuracy and awesomeness.

PS: Some guidance to the adequate forum parts for me to join in would be lovely.
