I don't know if this is the right section, however:

I think we should "test" our concepts on some tales, to check if they could perform some especial situations.
For example:

-George Orwell's 1984
Spoiler:
So, will the player be able to perform war only to waste resources and prevent a ribellion?

-Alien
Spoiler:

Could we have complex reproductive systems like this?

Let's write other ideas (and tales!) here.

1984 is largely reliant on a strong propaganda section. This can be handled with the current Nation Editor concept. As for the war to waste resources, well how the player uses resources is completely up to them. A never-ending war is completely possible.

And i don't believe that Alien is really very scientific sci-fi. I mean, evolving to be able to merge DNA is a stretch if i ever heard one. But Alien wasn't written to be believable, it was meant to not be unbelievable.

Well, what I mean is that Alien uses an intermediary (facehugger) to reproduce.

That happens in real life. This is within the capabilities of the current OE's caste system.

As to the issue that Alaska brought up, I'd stick it in the catagory of possible, but unlikely and set it for low priority for now. Same with the intermidiacies between biological tech and classic tech that have run through my mind so often.

Obviously we should look at various examples of things we haven't thought of before for ideas, but I thought that went without saying.
