A way to do that could be to have an organism live 25% longer than the previous lifespan, so a human would live to be 100 in order to receive that achievement.

Increased lifespan does not necessarily mean increased generation time, so I like that idea. Estimating a human generation at 20 years, that's seven generations: good enough for me.

If you mean a scandal then yes we can add that achievement. (we plan to include scandals (as a modifier))

remember that space stage will be RTS style automatically, the player can go into organism mode and control a space ship seperately.

Okay, here's a few ideas, didn't have a better name for some of these.

Roger Roger: Build a robot for a Military purpose.

Million Dollar Species: Augment your species with bionics/machinery (Entire body and entire species)

Reaper: Kill another organism after dying (thinking with a toxin or something)

EDIT: Ah, what the heck, a couple more.

Hegemony: Conquer/Colonize 100 star systems

Psychosocial: Ally 10 nations and turn on them

Achievement Ideas:

"Inhuman; Design a species that is not a mammal"

"Frostbitten; Design a Lizard-like species that lives in cold temperatures"

"Book of Thrive; Research all of the Religious points"

"Free Time; Have a city with an unemployment rate of 50%"

"Hoarder; Have a personal wealth of your (assuming there is one) main creature of over one-million"

"Little Green Men!; Attack a planet that is locked in the early Civilization stage (Around the 1950s-60s time when Alien Hype was at it's highest)"

"Titan; Create a race of gigantic creatures."

"Planet Killer; Invent technology to decimate entire planets"

"A-113; As an AI or Robotic creature, trap people aboard a ship to prevent them from returning home"

"Enterprise; Have a ship with a bridge area shaped like a Pie-tin"

(The last one is a joke, A-113 is a WALL-e reference.)

And there are my suggestions. I humbly await a reply.

(I will label difficulties unless you wish to order them yourself)


EDIT: The "Inhuman" is supposed to be easy, because I figured it'll be more difficult in the long run, considering that reptilian species must warm themselves up in order to be much less sluggish, such as Alligators must rest on beaches. So, it's really just a reward that says "Hey, you're gonna last long! :D"

I have a few possible achievements. They could be SECRET achievements, so people would either have to see this post or just unlock it randomly to know what they did to get them.

You're never gonna keep me down!: Evolve to fly, then to the land, then once again into the air. (Organism)

What's that thing I need to do?: Die five times from drowning. (organism, multicellular and aware)

You feeling lucky, alien?: Kill an enemy using only a ranged attack. (Organism, multicellular and aware)

Glory to <insert name here>: Have government leader/type change five times within <insert time period here> (Strategy in society or industrial or whenever overthrowing of governments will occur)

Mayday! Mayday!: Kill an animal while it is flying from the ground. (Organism, multicelluar and aware)

That's about it.

"Ultimate Payback": Annihilate the Home Planet of a Species that invaded your own planet in the Multicellular, Aware, Awakening, or Civilization stage.

-Difficulty, Very Difficult due to the rarity of an invasion and depending on how powerful your forces have become, and the expanse of the enemy empire.

"Size Matters Not": Defeat another Space-fairing [Empire, Republic, Confederacy, etc.] in the Space Stage with a species only about four feet tall or shorter.

-Difficulty, Near-Impossible due to how long it takes to find a civilization and because size probably will matter against things that are only about four feet in height.

"Juggernaut": Have a War Robot that has survived at least ten Skirmishes against more than one-hundred enemies or more, and has barely needed a major repair.

-Difficulty, Near-Impossible due to how indefinitely War Robots will probably be targeted first, but if they manage to pull it off, the Robot gets a rename and an enormous power boost. Not for the entire line of Robots, just for the single robot.

"Organic Matter is for the Mal-Contempt": Create a race that starts out as a single robot that copies itself over and over again to form immense armies of robotic self-replicating clones.

-Difficulty, Unknown due to I'm not sure if this is possible or not.
(I hope it is, that'd be incredible. :P)

"Use More Gun": Upgrade any vehicle to give it an enormous arsenal of weaponry and armor.

-Difficulty, Medium due to how much it would cost to get the thing into battle, and it would be drastically slowed down, but incredibly hard to destroy.

If you were invaded in multicellular and aware, you couldn't do anything. It's not like Avatar where a giant tree commands all the animals to go on a rampage and kill all the humans trying to harm the planet.

Guys, although conjuring up achievements may be fun and a breath of fresh air from the more difficult processes of developing the other parts of the game, remember that we have a Microbe Stage to release. And a Multicellular Stage. And an Aware Stage. And an Awakening Stage, a Society Stage, an Industrial Stage, and a Space Stage. Achievements contribute little towards this. Right now we should be geared towards finishing the Microbe Stage. We are so close, but we still have work to do, and although it can be nice to post some ideas for some in-game achievements, remember that we need the game first.

Achievements are a pleasant aside, but they shouldn't take up too much focus. What we really need to be working on right now is things like the agent system, the compound system, fleshing out the details on organelles, etc. I'm not saying to not post on this thread, but if too much focus goes on this thread, and not enough on the main development, I will lock this thread until we get some solid game releases out.

John-113: Spawn a commanding unit with a greater stature than the rest of your ground troops and bionic enhancements, then have it survive every battle all the way into space stage, then keep it alive for at least 20 years after your race has colonized its first two celestial bodies.

I, Robot: Create a civilization of robotic beings.

Blazing Angels: Create a squadron of aerial vehicles that fight in, and survive through to the end of a global war.

Cat in the Box - Develop a means of Quantum Travel (Fold that space)

A Brief History in Time - Have your higher race discover one of your lesser races and intervene to help them Ascend to the stars.

A Dance with Orion - Design a starmap program to aid your researchers

That did not mix too well- have a lesser species pull a jar jar binks and get blown up by doing something stupid (like eating two items that would cause a explosive chemical reaction)

Hey Ma, Watch This 5]-[17 - Crash your space ship or Quantum Sphere into a building

Spunknit - Design your first relay probe to gather information about other planets before you design your first space ship

Discovery- Name a space ship after the Discovery space shuttle.

Bill Nye would be proud - Cause a inactive volcano to erupt by using your spaceship to drop off a payload of baking soda and another payload in vinegar

Sunshine was just a movie - Fly into a sun and find out how how things get

Moon Lander- have one of your creatures step on the moon and set up your civilizations beacon

Tesla's Pigeons - Take a bird type lesser species into space with you

“Tim” Berners-Lee did it First! - Design Internet ( i know this was already said but thought id toss this in for kicks)

Chomsky Starchild- From tribal to space, have a leader who walks the path as a philosopher

Dawkins Docks - Design your own new species after researching evolutionary biology and accelerate them to the lesser stage.

Venter Company- Design a synthetic genome and create your first Synthetic Life Form

Dat Mass - Fly through a nebula

I fell in the hole george- Fly too close to a many different black holes and discover that all the theories are possible (prepare to die a lot, yay cloning )

Oonga Boongaaaah - You first torch got snuffed by rain and you shortly died after becoming a carnivores snack

They see me Rollin- Invent the Wheel

They see me trollin- Sabotage a neighboring tribes tech with your primary tribe

We are our own Downfall- have a civilization pollute any planet so much that the rain actually kills off the environment and causes the planet to go "Dark"

The prime example- have any civilization keep a planet stable and clean for a full week

This is not the borgue- Design a planet that is fully ran by synthetic life of any type of programming

Hello Sir, do you have a moment to.. - As a religious civilization convert 10 other civilizations to your beliefs

Consider the facts- As a Philosopher or Scientist ruled civilization, convert a religious civilization to your beliefs

RADs - Kill off 5 cities or 1 whole planet with a nuclear overload

Daleks! - Run into a synthetic race that is hostile

In Space, no one can hear you scream- Find a hostile alien life form that spreads like a parasite and lose an entire colony to a outbreak, resulting you having to nuke the planet or fully destroy it.
