I would now like to post some of my ideas but since I can't seem to post anywhere else but here I'm going to have to tell you my ideas here. Anyway I would fist like to say that you (the government) should build all buildings in each city but the government may not run all the businesses depending on what government you have: communism, socialism, or democracy (capitalism). Then there are the Types building you can build like economy, food, housing, science, energy, entertainment, religious, Military and healthcare. Before I continue I should mention that I believe that each nation or empire should have focuses like economic, religious, scientific, peaceful, Militaristic, or maritime. Then there should be buildings that only an empire with that focus can build like nuclear silos, scientific academies, World trade centers, United Nations, Offshore farms, and the Vatican. There also would be factories that would either be industrious or ecological. It would be the same for energy. The industrious fraction would produce more pollution but are much faster, has much more accidents. The eco fraction's factories have less pollution and it is much safer but is much slower and expensive. Pollution causes lees food growth near factories and causes unhappiness for people near the factory. Lastly, I would like to mention that nuclear power plants produce nuclear waste which increases the chance of a nuclear waste spill. Which will cause rapid mutation for nearby animals (including sentient species) until the spill is cleaned. I hope you like my ideas!
