Thrive has different cool themes for different cool things, it's pretty cool, it makes the player want to play more.

As untrustedlife said, it's probably not best to post on a thread so old. What we really need is a dedicated thread for music where all new themes and comments about them can be posted rather than have them scattered around the forum.
P.S. The Fallen Soldier Theme is actually one of mine. I'm glad you like it.

Awesome as usual Doggit. Tell me, what application do you use to compose music? ~scio recommended Linux Multimedia Studio (LMMS), and I've been messin around with that, but I want to know what you recommend.

I wish I was this good at music... All I can do is voices and Bass tracks. nothing fancy like this...
Loved the first two. .3.

I've been thinking of trying to make some themes for thrive. I don't have very much extra money at the moment since I just built my PC so I'll have to make do with LMMS.

Before I got Cubase AI6 to compose with, I used two free programs in conjunction - MuseScore and Synthesia. MuseScore is able to write musical scores, which can be exported as a MIDI file. Synthesia reads MIDI files and allows you to change which instruments are used to play each part. The only difficulty is using a screen recorder to record the sound of the MIDI file played in Synthesia.
If you want to, you could write the musical score using MuseScore and then send it to either Doggit or me so we can recreate it in either of our music programs.
P.S. Another amazing theme, Doggit!

So you are all composing on MIDI format? Make me a favour and save that midi file. Unless you are using heavily modified instruments and such, MIDI files take nearly no space and can be better contolled on runtime. Worst case scenario we wont use them, but as they take so little space that wont be a problem anyway.

MuseScore and Synthesia (the programs I used before) compose with MIDI files, but the current programs Doggit and I use don't. If I do ever compose something using a MIDI file I'll send it to you.
