On Leave (Offline thread)

Apologies for inactivity lately when I should be working on the GUI and sound effects - my computer's been a little temperamental, though hopefully it's fine now thanks to a couple of days spent fixing it.

On another note, I might as well say that I'll be gone for a few days from next Saturday, but providing I can work up the motivation to work on GUI and sound effects (with RabiesGuineaPig and Madero helping in each of course), they should be done before then, allowing the release of 0.2.4.

EDIT: Ok, turns out my computer's still as problematic as ever, and to top it all off it no longer runs the program I've been using to create the GUI, so I physically can't do anything more about that for now.

Aaaaaand my PC has completely conked out, so until it's fixed or replaced I'm useless here, besides posting the odd thing on the forum, and even that's difficult on mobile.

Just finished my last final exams, so my extended absence is over. I'm going to be starting by trying to clean up/organize the forums a little bit (there are many threads to delete/archive).

I really should have posted this earlier to force myself to stop doing Thrive-related things, but I got quite caught up in all the outreach stuff. Anyway, my next few weeks are going to be exceptionally busy, so don't expect to hear much from me until around the middle of March.

Madero and Doggit (and Psych0Ch3f if he promises not to scare new composers away with overly harsh criticism), you're in charge of music while I'm gone. If anyone has any questions, this thread should hopefully answer most of them.

Also, Moopli, as I won't be here to nag you, make sure you post the 0.2.4 release announcement news on the website at some point soon. At this rate it might be better to integrate it with a list of what's planned for 0.2.5.

Tomorrow I'll be leaving for a 1.5 month trip. I'll be back after, and until then the others devs will fill in on what's going on.
