Hello Thrive devs,i watched this project arleady longer time, so i decided to join.
Im currently learning C++, beacuse i want to help, i MAYBE can help with ambient sound and concepts (if i get scaner).
I also have several ideas and etc.
Im curenttly mostly interested in features, biomes, and microbe sections of game, so i think i can best help in them.
From all what i currentl know in programing i made one little prototype for Thrive (sorry for not informing you)

Im big fan of this, even while i doesn't really know much about making games
I want to ask can i try to make some more prototypes (i made this only to show you what i currently can do)
(Im not allowed to place links for next 7 days, so i will put link afor 7 link to you se it.

Welcome!

Firstly, feel free to make prototypes. There is nothing wrong with that - they help test our ideas in gameplay, and give us something fun to do. I look forward to trying it.

If you want, I would suggest that you list what skills you have on this thread. It's an easy place for other programmers to go for reference.

Welcome WilliamstheJohn!

It's great to see another brave lad join our project. However, don't get excited, learning code sufficiently takes at least a year. I'm interested to see your prototype, that is an excellent way to introduce yourself to the forum. Something I am going to start mentioning to newbies is that most ideas you can think of for pre-sapience have been already discussed and covered. Therefore, make sure you read before you post. Also, what is important now is to take all these ideas and turn them into maths and systems that can be fed into the computer.

By the way, your username looks strangely like mine...
