I've been getting interested in buying spore lately (saw a bunch of videos on youtube first) and learned of some of its watered-down ideas (though the original concept was still amazing). I was excited to catch wind of this Thrive project. When I read that you would like contributors, even as scientific advisers, I couldn't help but sign up. I have no programming skills, but I can offer any insights available which you may want as Thrive continues to...well....thrive.

It's spectacular to see you proficient in soo many sciences. Such knowledge always helps to ground the concept of the game in realism. If you want, I recommend you check out the Implementing Pollution thread, in which climate change is being discussed, as well as how the players civilization affects it.

Although you can't do programming, your skills will definitely be useful. Your knowledge in cell biology and general biology will help us make a realistic game but playable game.
