Right. As I hear from scio that there's a rumor going around that I've gone on a quest to find Bashinerox or something, I'm popping in to let you all know that I'm a) still alive, b) one year closer to having a degree, and c) will be resuming my duties as a moderator on something approaching a consistent basis, with the exception of the month of June, when I'll be out of the country digging in the dirt.

Wow, a pleasant surprise to see you back Calli (If I can recall your nickname correctly)!

A lot has occurred since you were last here, including prototypes, activity bursts, social media expansion, and code & concept development. It'll be great to have you back on the team to help out with the moderating, there are too few Thrive veterans still around these days.

We've taken a new approach to the forums. We are reviving the website to make it more accessible and preferably the first thing a visitor sees. We've merged most of the Global Announcements into the GET INVOLVED thread, to streamline the process of helping out. Strategy mode has developed by leaps and bounds, not only on the forums but also in my notebook and desktop. I plan on releasing some updated content for that soon.

As I said earlier, we have three new prototypes out now; one for the implementation of the compound system in the Microbe stage, the next for evolution in the microbe stage, and the last for the microbe editor.

We have gotten a lot more code completed and underway. We have more programmers now, as well as more of everything else, from a very big Reddit surge.

We also are now officially at Thrive v0.0.9, which is at least 0.0.9 versions more than where we were before.

We now have a subreddit, a twitter page, more active facebook updates, and lots of ongoing discussions on in-game features. All in all, things have really picked up.

Oh, hey, a familiar username. (Yes, you are correct in calling me Calli.)

Have I mentioned yet that I'm Belgiummed proud of you guys? In any case, now I have.

Hmmm, let's see...
1) Props to the social media people. And I see we got a new background too... (Yeah, I know that's scio's work.)
2) Will have to try the new editors out. Last I saw we'd just gotten a bunch of circles to chase each other around.
3) I heard from a distance about the Reddit boom.

4) Good luck on the strat, I really need to catch myself up on that, given how long I let it go before I went offline.

Reddit boom happened before two months, it caused 29,981 visits at same time! Someone unantieonaly gave us a bigest visitors spike ever. We got alot of great people like Untrustedlife, who made prototypes or Funnygames (who cant help us now, hes out in army ).

When the Reddit spike happened I was neck-deep in research, but if you listened carefully, you could hear the cheering from my college. I've seen some work by untrustedlife running around, I'll have to check it out. And good luck out there to funnygames.

Doggit and I have been composing many new themes, some of which have been released in the first Thrive Music Bundle, and others which have been released on our Youtube channels.

Nice to meet you, Mrs. Calli. It's nice to see you back. I've seen your name connected to many important posts. I'm WJacobC, I'm relatively new here, and you can call me Jacob. I guess you could consider me to be one of the "social media guys", since I proposed the concept for the twitter/subreddit, however, ~scio manages the actual posting.

As Nick said, we've made massive progress. Oliveriver and I are working diligently on the new website, and it's only going to improve.
