I'd love to contribute somehow!

I co-host a YouTube channel called FourSidedBall where I play Spore and other games while talking about new games. I'd love to start a series about the general progression and development of Thrive because it looks FULL of potential! In this series, I could cover new updates and maybe show off some alpha game-play to get the game hyped up. I really just want to get more people to know about the game, which might attract more skilled team members and hopefully increase the overall attention this game deserves to be getting right now. If not, I'd love to help in any other way possible!

This game is freeware and open source, meaning you can make that series anytime you want. Curently, heres nothing much on here you can preview, but as deveplovement goes faster with new members, there will be more stuff you can review. Or you can talk about concepts for this.
Also, beta of microbe stage is going to be relased at end of this year, so you will be able to do lets play soon!

1. He made cell stage prototype, cell editor prototype is done by FunnyGames, whos now out in army in Iran...

2. Yep, he does mostly 3D models.

I downloaded the .blend files for the 3D cells, and they really do render beautifully! Looks good, Cheese

Welcome to the Thrive team Mango!

It's great to hear your enthusiasm in the project. However, if you wish to start a video series, beware, we have little to show at the moment. Nonetheless, videos discussing things like the concepts, how to contribute, and its progression would be able to take up a couple videos I presume. I think you would want to wait for a more playable game though, because then you could include actual footage in your videos too, instead of just an orc floating through the water.

Its no longer an orc! There are (or at least there should be) two green chloropasts coliding with each other. Model made by thriving cheese, i believe.
