| Hi, Dev-Team of Thrive!
My name is Simon Koller and I'd like to apply as a translator. I'd like to help translating this games to German, which is my native tongue. I can speak English fluently since I've been studying it (in school) for just over 11 years and I'm graduating HS this year in English in both text and speech. Sadly I only have a very basic knowledge of HTML, PHP and C# so I won't be of any use when it comes to programming. I hope you'll consider me as a possible translator.
Regards, Simon "Simelineon" Koller

| Hmm, well, we wouldn't really be able to make good use of translators until we code in proper internationalization support, and until we have a large amount of text that isn't likely to change all the time. The second constraint is likely to not change for a while yet -- that is, the game isn't mature enough for translation efforts to not be wasted. Maybe someone else might have some other idea on how we could use a translator, I dunno. | |

| I know it's not much, but perhaps you could translate my tutorial video for 0.2.3 to German? I used Movie Maker (the pinnacle of technology for sure) to create it, and could send you the video. You could then translate the text. It may help get a German audience. | |

Honestly I wasn't expecting to be needed as a translator at this stage. My main goal was just to get a foot in for when the game is in a stage where a localisation is possible. When the time comes feel free to message me. - Loony Toony wrote:

Sure thing! I'd be glad to help. Maybe you can send me the raw video file or the WMM project file so that I can use it to create a translated version.
