How much to wait?

Sorry for the stupid question i'm going to make, but how much time will the developement of the full Thrive take?
A year,two,five, ten years, a century ?

I ask this because when I heard Thrive the first time I tought it was completed and downloadable ( ).
Then I discovered it was in pre-alpha stage ( ).
Now I know that the engine will be completed in an half-year (am I right?).

So, in wich year would be thrive ready to release (full)?
And what about an alpha or a beta version?



I ask this because I literally can't wait!!!
This game will be the game of the century, guys!

We will release the game peice-meal. Each time a prototype is completed, it will be released. As we finish a stage, out it goes.

Realistically, the engine will take about a year to my knowledge.
