Will the game have a high detail level? like This:

Thrive will be however an amazing game, but it will be greater if it had amazing graphics!

I doubt it will look like Crysis (but it would be nice..), but I think I can safely say we will not have Stranded 2's graphics (on the release, at first it will probably look even worse).

I beleive if we work with a clear division between the game's simulation and presentation the graphics engine could be made of such modular nature that constant improvement would be possible.

Agreed. On my other post I mentioned that an interesting approach would be keeping the simulation separate from the presentation on the ultimost degree. This would allow for large changes on the graphical engine without having to worry with the game's important code.

Our engine is all modular, so we can tweak graphics code with patches. Players will be able to tweak graphics settings to what suits them best.
