Will we be influential alone?

Org. mode will be accessible through all stage, but will we be able to advance in the game using only one individual or will the org mode be only "aesthetical"?

I'll try to explain:
When we get society stage strategy mode becomes more important (we'll have to conquer other's territories, manage resources...), but if in org. mode, for example, we travel to another tribe and kill its leader, will this tribe fall in chaos due to the absence of a leader?

You won't really be influential, but hopefully we should be able to set things up so that organism mode allows you to play the game as though it were intended to be played in org mode. I picture it as being reminiscent of Fallout 3, letting you purchase items, and buildings, giving you a wide variety of tasks to busy yourself with, coherent characters, motives, and "story," etc.

What? No. I see no connection between what I said and the sims.

There's plenty of ways you could be influential in Org mode. You can talk to others and plant the seeds of rebellion, you can build a new tech and use it for yourself, etc.

In organism mode you could be the first guy on the moon! Ooh! Or the first to crash a spaceship... Meh... Into buckingham palace. Spaceship Titanic. Speaking of Doctor Who (I am, okay?), The Doctor is one organism, and look how influential he is.
