Learning break plus a "for fun" song

First,

Figured a fun song would be interesting somewhere outside of the normal bounds of the game (credits? Easter Egg?)
The ending does not cut off at the moment, but I'll fade it out later. I do not intend on making any changes to this song. This is "for fun". If y'all don't want it, then no harm no foul.

I am going to be taking a step back for a bit as I'm diving in head first into this new stuff I have. It's a lot to learn, so much of my time will be working with it. Since I will not be producing much during this time, my fellow Co-Lead will pretty much be the one in charge of the music department. In the mean time, I'll be helping him where I can, and perhaps once I have a solid foundation on my new system, I'll pick up more responsibility.

Just dropping in. I thought you guys might get a kick out of this.

I decided to play around with a visualizer and needed a good song to go with it that's good for looping and that's relaxing...so for some reason I came up with my own version of part of the Metroid theme.

I wanted to keep it as original as possible and maintain a 16-bit feel somewhat, so I used a lot of synth. Took about 10 minutes to throw together.

I feel like the original song should fit somewhere, but I don't know exactly where. Somewhere in space maybe...but it's also too lively for that. Maybe quietly playing in the background during your first visit with a culture as advanced or moreso than yours.

I appreciate it. I stepped out for a few internal reasons with the team, but hopefully things can be resolved and this game really takes off.
