In strategy mode, you will be controlling the government, or at least have some sort of command over the general society (or at least a faction of it). However, will all the citizens be little puppets to be controlled by us, or will they have their own movements/goals.
Some are easy to conceive/implement. For example, if you are a bad ruler, the people will revolt/go on strike/vote you out or something. But could we have other sorts of movements among the people as well?

I'm pretty sure Rex and Alaska have already covered a lot of this.

I think we need to have a round table of mods and project heads and have a wiki dump of what's been finalized. There's a lot of stuff that we have one or two little kinks in the concept for and haven't quite put up.

It would save the newbies some time.

While this isn't directly adressed in any of the wiki pages, it does hint at things. For instance, the Nation Editor and the Society Centres concepts both talk of "Happiness" of the people, which makes it clear they have their own agendas (of course, propaganda can make the people do pretty much what you want if you give it enough resources).

Have you read the Society Centres Wiki Entry? I think it may clear up a few things.
