| discussing in a minecraft forum, someone brought up this question: "what type of game would be the game of your dreams?" I noticed that many people would like to play an open game, such as thrive, so I posted the link to this forum, and, now, a lot of people like "our" project. that's all. XD Should I post a description of the game in that MC forum? | |

| Thanks, and I don't see why not! Mention we aren't actually anywhere near completion, yet (we don''t want people to come expecting to find a fully working Thrive download somewhere). But say we're still open to ideas, questions, programmers, and such. | |

| Nice. Posting on official Minecraft forums might not be a bad idea, too. | |

| Good job. There's one up at the sims forum I frequent... the reply there was generally "tell me when it's ready." Not too many programmers and scientists in that particular section of the sims community, but some great graphics people. Sadly, no fish. | |

Minecraft is a big- ok huge- indie title, and hopefully that's where we'll be someday. I think posting a description of our project there would be a good idea. Don't forget to mention that WE NEED CODERS.

| I wrote a short description of the game (though it was more than two pages long, anyway!) and someone asked what type of programming language is being used in the development... I told we are using C++, lua and python (not sure on python), am I right? | |

Cyber bump. Does anyone actually know the answer? If not, what's the backup plan? Mind-wipe? Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow?

C++ and LUA does it for now. I wasn't aware you were using it. I'm fine with that, I just didn't know.

| I'm using c++ for the niche algorithms.
You have code? What does it do? I'm going to look into python scripting for c++. We might be able to get something cool working.
