| Hi, my name is Pyrotin, and I'm a pretty dedicated lurker . I have been watching the project since it was just a simple, unassuming hoax started by Sven, trying to get along in the digital world. I was interested, and have been watching the developement ever since. I have not joined because I felt that I could not contribute much, but I think I may be of some use. This project seems very promising to me, and I hope for the best. I am mostly going to be lurking around, posting my opinions on some of the problems, and providing some information to other new people. Also, one question. Will there be an option to disable the rise of sapience in your world? You know, so as to just have a simple planet of animals and plants for aeons. I think that that would be a pretty good addition, and hopefully wouldn't be too hard to code. Thank you for your time, I am Pyrotin (again) and this has been my introduction. Valete. | |

| I'm assuming that if you've been watching that long, you know who I am. Introductions over with, that's not a half-bad idea. | |

| You might know me too, Mr Lurker. And yes, it is a nice little option... Hmm... I think we should see what everyone else thinks, but i think it might be a little overpowered as a generic option. | |

| Welcome. Your work on biomes is pretty darn impressive, I haven't yet got how they work at all
I think you should be able to delay/stop your own species from achieving sapience, but not other species. You could systematically attack them and eventually drive them extinct, though.

| Thanks for the welcome everyone. The option to disable sapience is actually one I meant to be used in situations where the player would intend to play as an animal, and just want a world of diversity and evolution. I think that it should probably also disable player sapience, since I kind of thought that was when it was going to be used...(The player playing as an animal that is).
Edit: So are biomes and the tech editor just about the only things left, or is there more. And if so, can I help?

| Hi, Pyrotin. I'm Calli, and you've just made my day. (I've been semi-official Biomes person since we decided we needed it...) | |

| I actually really like that idea, and that's all I've really cared about in this game so far. An infinite animal evolution (Until mass extinction or something terrible) game would be really cool. I think it will spark interest in creating a civilization stage later, and we could get more people on board. | |

| To be fair, most of our extinction scenarios are "end of an era" rather than "end of the world," so you pretty much have a guarantee of at least bacteria and cockroaches surviving. | |

| Thanks for the welcome. I really hope to do some good around here, and insofar making biomes appears to be that good (thing). I personally hope that the non-sapience options are good, because I want to see what the system will come up with other than sentience as a high mark. Again, thanks for the welcome. Valete everyone.
p.s. Always wanted to use this .

| In regards to your idea Pyrotin, I think that down the line it shouldn't be too hard to add. However, you'll sort of have it the moment we release the multicellular to aware stages, as there will be a wait between their release and the release of the Society Stages. | |

| Welcome! And nice idea. I think disabling sapience would make a good god tool. Good for creating custom scenarios in Sandbox mode, like only one species can achieve sapience in the whole galaxy... Pure zoo planets. Hmm... *Lost in thought* *Prepares to head to the god tools list thread* | |
