Godly Cheating?

Have to agree with Alaska on this one. God tools aren't called god tools because they are limiting, after all.
I do have to introduce a thought that's already been mentioned about debugging, though: even in moddable games (like the sims) where it is easily acessable, (again, sims2) there's a huge issue of people who poke it blowing up their game. It's a bit like leaving the electrical wiring exposed. And hoping that people don't touch the wires with live current.
I think that having god tools (unlockable ones at that) will make the player, as opposed to the modder, less likely to muck about in debug and blast their computer with Zeus' lightning bolt on accident.
