Will thrive have Males compete for mates like rams and other animals do? This was just something i thought of and it might be a nice addition.

Nice. this will be awesome. ive had some ideas of creatures if you want anything from those. like concept art or anything.

Also, would Variances that are minor/there for show(crest size, spot size, ect) be around as-well, this would be an interesting concept

If an example of geovore is elephants eating clay for the minerals it contains, then yes.
