Sorry about the title, but I'm a C# programmer and while drowning a headache because I was unable to wrap my head around Spore's character customization and how it generates "skin" and procedually animates things so fluidly and everything I came across THRIVE. Joining the team and working on thrive could speed up game development for THRIVE whilst teaching new things to me and I could possibly teach the community a few things about good level design and programming. I've also been working on a new engine for a game I've dubbed "Spore05 2" for my son, but my son ALONE, so it's not illegal.
Maybe we could use that engine , or a modification of the engine that makes it a lot more realistic and scientific, for THRIVE?
Anyways, my name is Xander. I'm kind of new to this whole forum thing, I know 4chan but that's kind of my only experience with forums , so expect some huge failures with using tools on the forum. Also I'm confused about the rules here, where can I find them?

Wonderful to hear of your experience in programming and development. You would be a great addition to the team. The rules of the forum, well, I don't know of any, other than some basic unofficial ones (such as try to avoid posting multiple times in a row, instead use the edit tool on your posts; don't raise arguments for underwater civilizations that have already been discussed; etc.). There are a lot of useful threads pertaining to current development. What aspects of development are you interested in?

Regarding implementations of things from your engine, that sounds awesome, but alas I only know bits of Python so I would have to leave that to the more experienced coders.
