I think you should just get a brush and then 'paint' the materials onto the creature in the tech editor. Then you could have a slider to determine how loose it is.

But then you'd have to put the creature IN the TE!

In the test area, you can get a 'ragdoll' version of your organism, for testing TOs such as vehicles, chairs, weapons, etc. I'm not sure, but it may eventually support creating things like artificial limbs and technological implants.

Painting clothes onto your organism is a good idea, if clothes are included. Although, preferably with a 'bagginess' slider, too, so they aren't all Spore Galactic Adventures clothes.

There was armour, and similar stuff that could be worn, but I'm talking more specifically about the skin 'paint' that was designed to resemble a type of tight-fitting uniform seen mainly in (older) sci-fi.
