Introductory article about version control

If you've never worked with a version control system before, this article might be interesting to you.

Note that this will be important for people who want to contribute assets to the project directly. Like finished sound, models, textures etc.
We are specifically using SVN (apache subversion) for the assets. You can find a little more information in the github readme

The fourth section of the Style Guide is a good source of information on how to use GitHub in the project.

The asset repository is not on GitHub, but in a subversion repository, so you'll have to use something like TortoiseSVN to check it out. Use the URL http://91.250.119.121/scm/svn/thrive_assets/trunk . Username and password for read-only access are both "anonymous". This information is also in the README.md file in the code repository.
