At the downloads could do with a list of dependencies (if any) e.g. DirectX, C++ Runtume, etc, To play that is.

I'm not even sure we have any system requirements, C++ runtime library might be a requirement (not sure because were using mingw). We use ogre which works fine with openGL so directX is not required.
