| Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, but I just wan't to ask, how many people are working on this game? and how much more does this game need? Where can I find some programmers? Give me some forums to post advertises or help wanted messages, cuz I really like to help with this. (I'm daydreaming NASA suddenly coming out of nowhere and offer us help and the whole Linux Forums suddenly ganging up to help us...that would be a miracle that would make atheists believe in God for atleast 20 minutes) | |

But what matters is their experience and the quality of what they can produce, otherwise we'll be below Action 52. (If you don't know, Action 52 has long been cited as the worst game of all-time, largely due to its horrid programming full o' crashes, glitches and bugs.) It doesn't matter if this game takes 2 or 10 or 20 or 200 years, we want it to be good, at least decent, even if we start out less than that and get better. Of course, we'd like more programmers. But I think that advertising in random places will mostly get us more "idea people" and barely any programmers (or other useful talents, like concept artists or scientists). Perhaps ask them if they have any programming experience, which might attract a fair bit more. Also, another key aspect is WHERE you advertise. I'm thinking the TIGsource forums, that would be a good place to start. They love indie games and are chock-full of blossoming programmers and their (usually) wonderful creations. But hey, this is just me, do what ya want. You might want to keep this in mind, though. | |
