| A few months ago I started drawing loads of different animals that would belong in the same ecosystem. However, since I thought the project was abandonned, I gave up the idea.
Therefore I thought that I should start this "project" of mine again. But I only want to do it if there is a use for it as like concept art or something.
So if you think that it could be usefull tell me. Cause I hate drawing without any purpose.

| I don't quite get you're answer. But even if the evolution is random, it bcould just set as an example of what auto evo can acheave. | |

| Sounds a good idea for concept art, but an entire ecosystem will take a long time... I mean, look at Earth's... | |

| I'm not talking about a whole ecosystem, but a simpified one. Like Nemo Ramjet did for Snaiad. | |

| Correct me if im wrong, but i thought you had to crearte your own species. So i dont really get the point of drawing animals then... | |

| it's called concept art, and it helps, besides it is good for showing people what things can be done, and zoto, the editor will have little (none in observer mode) editing power except if in god mode. it'll let you do only small tweaks and push your creature in a certain path | |

| Zotobom has a point that way.. it's all procedural, and we have no screenshots to show so it's hard to say what CAN be done. | |

| It's true that our concept art does not serve the traditional purpose of blueprint for assets in the game. However, it helps us think of different possible situations and it's at least some art until we have more to show.
@Roadkill - it's more of "This can theoretically exist, discuss." than "This can exist, implement it now!"

| Really, the only useful thing would be waht can'yt be done- because the OE concept covers about everything. | |

| I suppose concept art of creatures is sort of like the pre-made creatures that were made to show off SPORE, except you don't get to choose to use them in-game when you are feeling lazy, unlesss you copy-paste the share code in the organism editor... Please tell me we will still be able to do that. -Waap.

| Wow. My brain is overheating.
Well, should it be a good idea if I just draw these organisms basing on the OE and gameplay concept?

| Yeah, why not? I'm rather certain that nothing bad will come from it. Concept art is great. It's inspiring, and it makes you feel like that tiny bit more has been acheived. Go ahead. -Waap.

| Alright then. I've got about 8 scrap designs of mainly fish but some of them land animals. I'll post them into the concept art topic once I get to scan them. | |
