| I had a thought. Why isn't thrive on wikipedia? It seems that a project like this should definitely be up there, although it might be too early in development for the world to even take notice. What do you think? | |

Yes, but that's primarily to coordinate information within the project. A Wikipedia page would be more of an informational thing about the project for outsiders. Personally, I don't think we're in need of a Wikipedia page yet. It's debatable whether or not we meet the notability standards for a stand-alone Wikipedia page, and we don't have a lot to put up about the game considering we still don't have any playable prototypes. Maybe wait until a few of the prototypes come out and/or we receive more coverage elsewhere on the Internet?

| That makes sense, I guess. I was thinking it could be a little stub article, just to tell people about its existence, that would depend on how much traffic an article like that would get. | |

Yeah, but we don't want a bunch of people just signing up for nothing (look at how many users are actually registered).

| Most indie games like this don't get Wikipedia pages. Heck, Pandemic doesn't have one. Though that's also just a flash game... | |

| As your default marketing person, I suggest that we create a wiki page when our first usable bit is finished but not yet released. Say, a couple weeks before we plan to put it up there. Also, that's the point at which we will either need a portion of this forum for the players or a seperate forum for them, whichever we decide, primarily because it's no fun playing alone. | |

| As Xeno said, the Wiki people are very strict on notability. So, until some we get some references from outside, we can forget a Wiki page. | |

Isn't the creation (and utter failure) of Spore the inspiration of this game? In that sensce isn't this game like Spore (but better)?
