What is Thrive?

Thrive is an open-source, non-profit, completely free videogame project created with the intent of producing a realistic evolution simulation game. Our eventual goals are to simulate the evolution of a species as it progresses from a unicellular organism into a civilization that travels between the stars. Currently, our game engine is under construction, and we have several core concepts completed.
