I'm Arachnus. I came here from the Speculative Evolution forum, after hearing about a game that was supposed to be what Spore never lived up to be. One of the main reasons I joined is to debunk the idea that advanced aquatic civilizations are not possible. I'm also interested in the development of this game.

Just make sure your ideas are really really REALLY solid about the aquatic civilations. And read this whole post carefully. i dont want sciocont angry again

The Implementing Underwater Civilisations thread would be the thread to read (nine whole pages!). Just make sure you have a reason that hasn't already been discussed and confirmed to be virtually impractical, is supported with proper evidence, and doesn't involve uplifting from a more advanced race.
