In the movie "WarGames," the military computer "WOPR" calculates the end result of every possible way to start a Global Thermonuclear War, every time there is no winner. In "Thrive," however, we'll have to get around the WarGames Idea, and make as many procedural attack/invasion strategies as we can that could work for each and EVERY procedural universe we manage to control.

This Idea would directly be put into an updated "takeover algorithm" and the winner would be defined that way.

Scio and Roadkill won't be happy over this thread, too much offtopic from the cell stage.

I don't know what that movie is, but computing every move succesfuly would require you to know every possible detail, even the tiniest ones - wich is impossible.

Also, NPC nation vs. NPC nation battles will probably be greatly simplified, with each battle being done in a single equation. As for NPC vs player, things will be a little more complex, but probably not much.

That said, we should really focus on the cell stage.
