Expanded Front Page

Alaska, Koiboi and I were discussing this in the chatbox earlier. The front page should be expanded to allow people to see the subforums in each section. This could be accomplished in an Expanded Tree like those in File Browsers.

I like this.

I can quickly expand it. Glad that chatbox is getting used.

Now that you did this, it is way too crowded on the front page. I was picturing there being a little plus next to all of the main forum sections that, when clicked, would reveal all the rest of the subforums in that main category.

AKA: Drop-down menus.

Mmm. It is quicker to navigate the forums now, but a drop down would be aesthetically better.

I also vote for dropdown menus, the page is quite too long.

Maybe you could set it up the way it used to be- if everyone agrees.

I like this way much better, so much less work for the browser.

Alright. I just picture some random new guy visiting our forum and looking at it, and just saying OMGWTF?

But then again that type of person probably wouldn't be very constructive.

I don't see what the big problem is. I agree with Poisson, the new look is better with them all being expanded.
