- Just to ask, where can I find the compiled version?

Github doesn't have a compiled version I can upload one for you atm if you want, but we are working on 3-4 features at once right now, which will be merged together over the next couple of days if everything goes well. So a "demo" will be much more interresting for you then!

| With that Christmas release out, i think it's important we start planning what we want for our next release. What features should we implement? These are some I can think of off the top of my head:
- Organelles - Organelles to move the cell, to undergo compound processes, to create energy, etc.
- Music - A series of the themes composed for the stage that loop in the background. I don't think there are any instance specific themes for this stage, so we don't need to worry about what themes play when.
- User Interface - With the addition of organelles, and soon other features like more compounds, agents, and ultimately evolution, it's important to get a UI up so the player can manage all of this stuff.
Note: I feel like I have posted this same thing before somewhere, if so please ignore the first and answer here, if not I need to get more sleep these days.

| I think that a UI is definitely a priority. I'm not sure how we could properly implement organelles without an UI. Music is already supported, I think. | |

| Agreed. Getting the UI done will make a lot of things easier to implement, imo. | |

This is already implemented, thats how you currently get ATP. You just see the organelles as colored hexes changing color based on how close to finishing their process they are (currently just the one process, but easy to add more in the scripts). What kind of other visual feedback would you like for this? Obviously it will be more transparent when we have a microbe editor. - NickTheNick wrote:

This will easy as cake once Nimbal returns! - NickTheNick wrote:

With UI do you mean a microbe editor? That is one of the next things i think will be worked on indeed!

| The microbe UI was being finalised here, although that's more geared towards its final appearance than prototypes. On the subject of music, I'd just like to make sure I'm imagining it working in the way that everyone else is. Nick mentioned that the themes would be looping in the background, although since there'll be several themes I assume after each one finishes another is randomly chosen from the selection. There won't be any scenario themes for the microbe stage (with the exception of the editor and loading screen), so this system should work adequately. Is this the way the programmers have decided to implement it? | |
