Very nice, but you should also send to me so that I insert on my channel and have everything there. I take it and put your credits ok?

Nice theme! It seems to tell an unkown story some how
So, from what I can tell, the goal here was to get a playable beta thing ready by 2013. Was this for the start of 2013, or the end? And does the 'concept complete' mean that you've done it, or that you've got everything ready for starting?
And also, there's a video concept thing here: www . youtube . com / watch?v=jqvuLtxsqTg which has a rather nice menu, working physics, a background that doesn't look too far behind and other such good stuff. On the version here, however, it's just a man and a large blob on background a distance away. The blob can be pushed upwards, so it's just a man moving around with a blob to hide behind.
Was the first one just a concept, or is it actually a working thing? And since some bits (specifically, menu and a bit of music, as well as numerous blobs and a controllable small blob) seem like they could be added in relatively easily, is there any progress on that?

End. Ready for starting. That video was an old prototype. If you notice the menu is actually made to look part of it through a cutting between the two shots. The music as well was from youtube being open in the background.
We know exactly about our own game, so there is no point in describing it to us. There is progress on all of what you mentioned, but menu and music are usually finishing touches. Right now basic coding structure and prototyping are taking precedence over advanced coding, which is the order of development.
EDIT: @CoolGuyChris: I think you should make them greyscale, so that they then can easily be turned into a lot of other different colours, for example if the players gonna be able to chose the colour on them in-game, and please make them tileable/seamless.

These words bring me o tears that a great game that I love has to be critisized by me but this is the reallyty

We all know to this game will need aloooot time to be made, but that is part of fun of game deveploving! Especialy feel when you get credits in something. But if you wanted to say this, you atleast should post it in relevant thread.
Actually we are getting things done in great time, in fact, my prototype is just about ready to be released (sorry for my inactivity over the last couple of days (busy-ness)) We are adding alot of background stuff to the game right now (for example, lua support)
At this rate I think it may be released before the end of the year... especially if I start getting to know ogre (At which point I could spend several all nighters making this)

Nikola, if you are going to so harshly criticize us, at least use proper spelling and grammar. The posts like that is what discourages people from helping us. It's a prime example of the Inverse Tinkerbell Effect. The more people believe it will take too long, the less people help, thus fulfilling the prophecy. Another note, do not curse. It looks unprofessional and makes us all look bad. If you need to, use the standard profanity filter and use "Belgium".
I don't want to sound like a Belgium, but seriously, that kind of post is unneeded, especially on a topic so irrelevant. Please, help us instead of attack us if you want this to be done quicker.
Thank you.

always easy to belittle the work of others, especially when it comes to demanding jobs like this.
If you can help to our community .. helps us. Otherwise we do not need people like you to know that the game will not be complete in 2 or 3 years. We know better than you how things are going.
If you can not wait: you bought Spore and play it.

Were you trying simulating a carnivore creature attacking herbivore creature?
In any case, like you heard, untrustedlife is doing very well, and the cell editor is also looks good (as I hear), and now it's only 30.04, which means there are 8 months to go.

I'm excited to see the latest prototype. If you could, please have it posted before Saturday- we need to make another release this weekend.

First of all, just because you created an account here on the forum doesn't mean you can just tell us to "hurry up". There are people working hard on this game, and all of them have a life too. Your ideas aren't rubbish, but have all been discussed like 2 and a half years ago. Although this may sound a bit controversial, I really don't care WHEN will the game be released, I only really want it to actually be released. Sure, the quicker the better, but a game of this scope can't even hope to be released in a close date. Even if this game would be released in 25 years, I don't care as long as it's going to actually be released. I personally, am enjoying the game already, even if it's not even released yet. I find it fun to be a part of this monumental undertake. I find it fun discussing the features of the game, making suggestions etc. I have met some great people here on the forums. I visit and post here nearly every day, not because I am hoping for this entire game to be released in 2014, but because I find it fun and satisfying.

I am not really convinced you are that much of a die hard fan. You made less than 20 posts in total, and are already complaining about everything.

You don't have to rely on us- but who else are you are going to rely on? No one is making anything even close to this.

Die hard fan, eh? I have seen the ModDB page and everything there is true and I can't really see anything there that is not true. Anyway, if you really were a die hard fan, you would support the game and actually be useful, not starting a ridiculous rant like this.

That only happened back in 2012, and it was a little bit too optimistic, but it's not even that important, and optimism is what is pushing this game forward. Also, In my opinion, the microbe stage beta should be released at the end of this year if not earlier, we have made more progress on the game itself in these few months more than the last 2,5 years.

You seriously think we aren't aware of this. And I don't really understand why should we explain to you why should you "rout" for us, whatever that means, that is your choice, and I really don't like being harsh, but we don't really need people like you.

Sci. I will see what I can do to get my prototype released by saturday , I have been really busy lately and stopped checking up on a daily basis. (school/work stuff)
