| Found my way over here.
I trust this forum won't die in the way the other forum did? The forums colours are very dark and distracting and the text is very difficult to read. There are also numerous spelling and grammar mistakes in the text and there are no Stickies detailing what each sub-forum is for. The margins on each post are also too small at each side and at the top and bottom. The text size is also too large for most parts of the forum, especially the announcement banner up the top.
What will happen the the Ideas that were in the old forum, is there someway to salvage them or will we have to create all the topics from scratch? We also need a more dedicated democratic idea decision system, we already have Master Threads but they didn't appear to be used at all in the old forum.
I'm glad that Thrive didn't meet it's demise, and I hope we make some fast progress when we all get settled back here.

I'm glad that Thrive didn't meet it's demise, and I hope we make some fast progress when we all get settled back here. This host hasn't had any problems in /wait i can't tell you about that/. Let's just say i think it will work grandly. I'm working on a lot of this. There's a ton of options on this forum and I've really just gotten to use them. You also have to realize that i built this entire thing yesterday over the course of about four hours. And I have to say it looks pretty Damn good for that.

| Now that you say you built it in four hours with limited experience, it does look pretty good for that amount of working time.
Still, if you could adjust some of these things it would look better.

| I know that things are still getting cleaned up, but here are a few things i picked up:
There is no Culture Editor. Outreach is spelled wrong on the main page. 'Gameplay through time' should be called 'Evolutionary Stages', and have subforums that break the game up into sections (i think we had microbe, multicellular, aware, awakening, early society [name may have changed] industrial, space). Modes should have subforums for God Mode, Org Mode and Strategy Mode. Prototypes description says fro, not for.
There should be a Master Threads or Development Section that holds the current concept for each category.
Also, i don't like the emoticons on the side of the post reply box. Surely we don't need so many stupid ones, if any at all. I mean why have an elephant and a pharaoh? The background picture is smaller than the width of my screen and so a section of it is repeated on the left side. Not a big deal, but relevant. And there's something i don't like about the green and orange... Maybe just one or the other? And last picky thing is the icon. I think that Darkov's old DNA Strand in a bubble would be best there.
Don't get me wrong, sciocont, you've done a great job so far. I'm just trying to help you to clean and improve.
EDIT: Just noticed, the 'online' image is sideways. Intentional?
