Well I can't promise too much (as you can imagine, being the sole coder on Species takes up a lot of my time, so even more than a little bit of lurking is a luxury), but I'm always happy to share crosslinks and discuss either of our games and so on. Hoarding secrets was never my style, and I desperately want to see you guys release Thrive so I can play it.

Sorry for vanishing there, had a massive reddit-induced traffic spike and by a load of hotfixes to work on, and kinda forgot I was having a conversation over here. [facepalm] On the bright side, I finally got the clade diagram fixed. It no longer spazzes out and starts lagging the game.

Short version: I'm being sensibile about the games development and focusing on bringing the stuff that's fallen behind up to the same level of quality as the rest of the game, rather than working on new features. Not as flashy as clade diagrams and rovers, but essential. I'll be fleshing out the creature's stat-physics, modularising the code, implementing a few graphical improvements and adding content.

Sorry about that, thanks to the aforementioned traffic spike I've been frantically scrambling to keep up and haven't been able to respond to all my emails.

Is the error you're getting the "The type you are using for T in this method is an invalid size for this resource" error? If so, I'm looking into it, but I think it's related to graphics card capabilities. How old are your graphics cards?
