| Hi, I am an animation major currently studying at DePaul university, I have a love for games which led me to this site. I loved spore before it was changed and when I heard about this game I knew I wanted to help out any way I could. I know how to model, rig and animate in Maya, I'm learning how to program currently and I work really well with others to come up with great ideas. Please let me know what I can do to help this project I'd really like to see if come to a full game! | |

Wow, animation, I don't think we've had one of those for a while. That will become very useful very soon with the current rate of development on the Microbe stage, such as animating the movement of cilia and flagella on a cell. Programming is always great to know, and if you could get some experience into that that would be awesome. Welcome to the team! EDIT: Btw, make sure to contact Thriving Cheese or check out this thread for modelling.

| Welcome.
As you are used to maya, could you try to export a model into the ogre format? You can see a list of exporters here: http://www.ogre3d.org/tikiwiki/OGRE+Exporters
The actual model doesent matter, althrough using something similar to a microbe would be good. | |
