| Now that we decided that Darwinian evolution will not work in gameplay, how will the species evolve without us controlling it? | |

PROBABLY no way. We don't know for sure yet. Yes this. PROBABLY. Meaning i wont code PROPER darwinian evolution myself, because i dont know where to start. The source code is freely available though, and anyone is invited to write a module to produce it. The link to the source is on the forums here somewhere. | |

| We're going to be able to test out a bunch of different variants on evolution systems, and narrow them down from there. We'll need lots of beta testers, but there's plenty of people around the internet who would love to test and mod this game. | |

| Back on topic: Mechanics for this mode- Mouse pan/zoom in/rotate control
- can select for camera to follow an organism
- can select for camera to see through organism's senses
- infinite mobility (go anywhere)
- player can set up camera paths (basically a path which the camera follows to get a swooping view, circling view, etc.

that's the basics QFT, dragoneye. also i think we should make to we wont have observer mode before civilization (but we will had it always in sandbox) | |
