| Glacier biomes (if they are implemented) should be able to melt or break off from the rest of the biome.
I'm the world's smartest cat, yet I still can't come up with a good signature.

| If a tropical rainforest is possible I mean like the amazon rainforest not a wetland, here's my idea for it: I am sorry if this has been talked about, tropical rainforests like the amazon weren't on the biome list.
occurs: wherever there are tropical-humid conditions resources: lumber many plants (possibly used for medicine) poor soil water elevation: Sorry couldn't get that, help me finish climate: hot and wet topography: can be flat or hilly biodiversity: 3 autotroph niches: tiny to huge heterotroph niches: tiny to mid-large + other: has multiple layers The undergrowth in some areas of a rainforest can be restricted by poor penetration of sunlight to ground level. If the leaf canopy is destroyed or thinned, the ground beneath is soon colonized by a dense, tangled growth of vines, shrubs and small trees, called a jungle. I got most this from Wikipedia
This would be cool biome to see, if implemented:!:
Grammar!? Ain't no smart cat get time for dat! :cat:

| Yes, obviously tropical rainforests have already been suggested as a biome. However, more importantly, biomes will be procedurally generated (correct me if I'm wrong) based off of ~scio's latest concept, so more brainstorming is unnecessary.
Also, please try to avoid multiposting. Use edits to change previous posts if you want.

| Astreoid(if in microbe stage you are in space when you evolve to multicellular you smash on the planet,When you are in further stages you are able to mine it) occurs:on large enough astreoid to be able to generate life inside.(Random) resources:Iridium,Molten rocks(When it crashes),Water,Ice,Other minerals elevation:from 500 below sea level to 5000 above(depends on where it crashes) climate:Depends on where it crashes. While in space it is cold as anyone's guess topography:you are in cold ball of water and ice biodiversity:only the toughest microbes and extremofiles autotroph niches:microbes heterotroph niches:microbes | |

Well, considering this is the Biome subforum, maybe you should give it a look yourself.

| Question before I work on coming up with a biome. As long as we fill in the blanks the biome won't have to be realistic they could be other worldly. Because I have an idea for one, but its really out there because there's not one like it on earth. | |

| Could a slat flat be a possible desert type biome?
Edit: Crap, didn't see your post about the new system. Anyways, would something similar to a salt flat be possible in such system, or would it be determined by other factors?

| Well, we're going to be isolating specific factors that compose biomes, so I'm sure that all possible known biomes will be included because they are all some combination of those environmental factors. | |
