That would be difficult because Gas Giants are usually made up of Hydrogen, and being the lightest gas, no creature could use a lighter one to float.

| Regarding life. Like Earth there are a bunch of conditionals that need to be thought of, like whether or not hydrogen is the majority gas in the gas giant.
Regarding resources. Now Harvesting Hydrogen could prove useful for powering nuclear fusion reactors, along with fuel cells, Other Gases could also be harvested but that will take lots of reseach to complete. To tell you the truth the space phase seem to have a lot of micromanaging.

Actually, they're made up of many different gases, hydrogen would be at the top layer because it's the lightest, but some of the lower layers could be pretty dense.

Saturn is nearly entirely hydrogen, no life could hope to float in that.

Saturn is nearly entirely hydrogen, no life could hope to float in that. No life could hope to float on Gaseous hydrogen. However, closer to the center, Saturn is covered by liquid helium and liquid hydrogen. Life could float on that and live inside it., although it would need to be extremely light.

| Many gas giants have gases besides hydrogen. Some have been found to have carbon dioxide, sodium, and I think I remember hearing about one even having water. All of these are denser than hydroden and helium. | |

Okay, good. That means floating should be possible.
