| Again, we appreciate any compliments and plaudit, but please do so on another, more appropriate thread. I do not know why people keep thinking this is a praise thread. Please keep this thread on the aforementioned topics of discussion. | |

| Good picture. It's great to see another join the ranks, I'll put you on the list. To all concept artists, homework is to read the first post of this thread. It will give you a clear sense of what cells are going to be included in the game. It would be a good link for model artists too, but we have none. | |

| I think the best improvement would be to remove the flagellum spikes, since flagella tend to be smooth. It's not vital, but it would make it match the google image search for Flagellum, meaning people would more easily recognise which part it unlocks.
But good work on the model - it seems rather good, in my opinion.

| In this period I'm a bit busy with studying so I do not have much time to participate in the realization of the theme. Soon, when I stop, I will forgive.
I saw the news that there is a lot I like.
P.S. What can you tell me what the next theme I should do? I was thinking of loading screen stage microbe.

I was thinking of a theme together with a piece with piano ... I unfortunately do not know how to play well to compose something ... there is someone who knows how to play?

Well, if you can compose something in a partiture for a piano, you can always get a computer to play it for you, you dont need to have a piano yourself and know how to play it. This way you can compose for any instrument you want.

I asked for your contact so we can work on this theme. its not OT if it's something of the production of the game.

| While i was doing my proof of concept, i stumbled upon an important fact. We dont have any icon for our game. I mean the picture that the executable shows. We have the thrive logo, up there at the top of the forums, but it is way too big to fit into an icon.
We would need at least one placeholder for the microbe stage, something that people can start linking with Thrive. But some work for a final icon would be appreciated too.

| I made a black Thrive icon - for Windows and Mac (I'm not sure what Linux does for icons) - made using Icon Composer. They use the forum's topic logo, but switch to the full Thrive logo when 256 pixels² and above (EDIT: now 128 pixels² for Mac icon, seems better).
This link will only last for a week, so if anyone knows of a good (i.e. permanent and confirmed scam-free) file hosting website, we could use that for future uploads.
(Files are now on Dropbox, and will last until I eventually forget this link exists and move the files) Mac & Windows Icons
If preferred, I could make an icon using the Thrive Orb in the background of my avatar, or the current version in different colours. I could also have a go at designing something else, if you want to put confidence in my limited graphic skills.

| I have a new desing: - Spoiler:
This time I made the Writhers, Like always, tell me what do you think, and I will try the interdimensional 3D conversion spell on it. Another topic, I have a little problem, I don't really get how to interpretate the lamellipodes, I have looked for it on wikipedia and stuff, but I didn't understand it. Could you please explain it to me in the science-dummies-edition?
