Would it be a better idea to create the sandbox first rather than the full game?

Aswell as being perhaps easier to make rather than the full game it could make thrive more poplular as a seperate application before it gets added onto the orginal game by giving the players a taste of what is to come.

Spore probaly would have never had as many players if it was not for their "creature creator" seperate application to give the users a try. I can forsee this being a popluar marketing stategy for thrive.

Our plan is always to release things as we make them. Whatever we make that's stable gets put up.
