We are in the process of making the Microbe Stage right now, so if you want to work on that I suggest you contact Nimbal, who has just recently finished v0.2.0.

it looks like he's using luabind. whenever i can compile a few more tutorials i will contact him right now, just trying to get oriented.

So, the current attitude on working on another stage along with than Microbe Stage is that, instead, we should finish the Microbe Stage before the others so we can spark Thrive's "Cambrian Explosion" of support from programmers and modelers outside of the project.

I agree, but its also seems like, since the team is so small, you guys have been working on individual mechanics in the Microbe Stage at a time. I think that, once we gain more support from experienced people, we should move on to multiple game mechanics in a stage from individual mechanics, rather than multiple stages. One person's organism editor would be incorporated into another person's aware stage while the rest fill cracks and incompatibilities between the two.

Yeah, well when we have a bigger team, I guess we don't need to focus as much to make progress.
