| We certainly do need more opinions on this. I like the idea of sets of tools. It would need more tools added to it, and possibly another set or two, but the idea itself is quite, for lack of a better word, solid. I'd think that it wouldn't be unlocking the wind tool, it would be using it. If you can do something by combining the tools you have, then why have another button for it? Okay. I just played the game, and I see what you mean. What I was thinking of was slightly different. I was thinking that things would be combined after they were put down. Example: Heat something up until it catches fire, then drag gunpowder onto it. I think you're thinking of something like put gunpowder onto fire to make explosion, then drag the explosion onto the building, just a bit more sensible. Maybe that wasn't the best example, but you get my point. Yes? NO?? Anyway, I hope you get my point, even with a terrible example. | |

That was me! I like the idea of combining tools, it makes things simpler, and means you can discover new combinations, encouraging more use and experimentation! Creative and cool! In answer to why have another button? It would make it easier to do complicated things that would otherwise need 4 or more tools used.

| I get that, but wouldn't that mean you would end up with button overkill? -Waap.

| Menus (force), submenus (combination), then a window/pop-up with certain tools in it (wind)? Then in the main tab you could add quick-use tools. | |

| Quick-use tools= GENIUS.
I'm supposing we could just pause the game to open up that many menus across the screen? Otherwise... We wouldn't be able to see what we're doing with that many windows open...
I do like the idea of experimenting with god tools... It might end up being my favourite part of the game... o.0 We will need to set lots of different possible combinations, so that there is plenty to discover... Why? Because discovery is what people do best. -Waap.

| I don't mind the "combinations system" idea, but I think it'll be better if you get all the god tools immediately after asciention, in order to be truly omnipotent!
Making the player having to unlock all the combinations to be a "god" will flood the web with "thrive god-tools combinations list" and annoy the player, I suppose.
however these are my ideas, but everyone has his own ones.

| Andry has a point with getting all the tools. Doodle god is quite fun up to some 50 elements. Then since most of them are invalid combinations it gets boring as hell.
Another way would be dividing tools with a smart menu tree and have two (or possibly more) "modes" for each one. Remember how in black and white 2 the miracles could be throwed or poured?
