| First of all, how will the player keep track of their race's history in the game?
Secondly: different species will have different anatomies and needs, so we will need procedural medicine based on various species' biological components, am I correct?
last of all, what are the main differences between the aware and awakening stages, and what is the main difference between organism and aware gameplay? | |

First of all, The player will keep track with the evolution tree thing we'll have. I think we still will have it, it required lots of space. Anyone got confirmation on whether we will or wont?
Secondly: Medicine. I'm not sure we'll be going into that much detail, with certain chemicals causing damage to bacteria and stuff in that area... Is medicine in the research tree? If not, that's a logical place for it. and for those not familiar (mainly you, Starmage ), the research tree is a big... Tree, with all the possible researches your species can make on it. That was a terrible explanation, wasn't it?
Last of all, awareness is when your species... The best way to explain is with an example... Awareness is what dogs have and sardines don't. Do you understand that? Anyway, awakening is when you get imagination and stuff, and are at the level of humans in intellect. I hope that makes it clearer. Organism and awareness gameplay... You know, I'm not sure. I'm really not sure... Maybe the AI for your species gets better, and more 'human'? | |

| The evolutionary tree was agreed to have, the discussion was over whether to use only names, small or big pictures.
I don't think we need to go more indepth than having medicine researches and some diseases, each with a cure.
If we are using finite state machines (FSMs) for AI, then we might have a "_intellect > X" condition for certain more advanced actions, simulating more advanced thinking. | |

| I see...it seems that we would require various branches of medicine, such as reparation of biological structures, disease termination and general health restoration, right? Also, will we have the research tree as early on as the Awakening Stage? Because that would help. @theUteen: of course I know what the research tree is, silly! It's pretty much like an evolution tree, and we're basing it off the one from Civilization IV. | |

| Okay, well i think if you have a look at the Research Tree Thread you can basically see the answers to your medicine question and your awakening question. | |

| Alright, Alaska. Thank you, that did help. But now I need a bit of clarification: 1) will clothing, shelter, etc. be made in the tech editor? 2) why isn't there anything related to holograms, microchips, hovertech or biotech on the tech tree? | |
