| I like these ones, but they look like they're dyed for my bio 101 class. I was hoping to see some clear amoebas in something looking like an egg drop soup as well. | |

| I'm not sure about the look of the Heat-Eater. It seems to be significantly more complicated than the others. I imagined it to look something like a raisen, as a way to maximize surface area but still be simple. | |

Heat-eater was based off of streptococci bacterium that actually live off of heat alone.

| Okay, i finished this during my break at work yesterday. This is why i take my laptop with me on Saturdays.

I'm aware that there's a weird wobble thing about three quarters of the way through the animation, but i can't for the life of me figure out what i did wrong. I might start the animation process again next time i do work on it, and see if i can fix it that way.

I'm not sure of how to export/create texture maps in 3Ds or whatever you are using.

I'll have to look into those next time i fiddle with it. I THINK there's a rather easy way, considering that it's just a closed-end cylinder. I'll get back to you soon, with a map.

Usually all you need to do to unwrap it is find the tools and, in this case, make an incision down one of the long lines of polys. The unwrapped texture should look like a stretched lemon.

| Very, very nice. Obviously not a final product, but a wonderful start.
That makes me wonder, maybe could we rag doll it and have only the end section wriggle, leaving the rest to follow? It would be a belgium to code the original ragdolling info, but it would let us play around with whole slews of animations that would look better and react nicer with the environment, not to mention we'll need to start working on ragdolls and associated animation styles anyway.

Well, i have no clue how to go about this :p So, uh, until someone does i'm not sure that we'll be able to do it. I may look it up if i get time, though.

Looks pretty neat. Could you make it partially transparent? And maybe give a bit longer video.

The video loops perfectly if you want to do it that way And sure, i can make it partially transparent. But there's nothing below it to see the transparency...

Uh, Scio? Is the Holder hollow in the centre, like a thin doughnut? Or does it have two layers? I might start on the bacteria-like Heat Eater while i wait for a reply.

How is? LOVE. Might you be able to send me a texturemap? And possibly make the little thorny bits a bit smoother? The holder is two-layered, but one layer is facing inwards, and the outer layer is facing outwards. Does that make sense? I want to give it the look of an actual phospholipid bilayer. Also, Pezzalis' old render outlines how I want cell stage to look: - Spoiler:
