I finished the music of the loading screen of stage microbe. What do you think?
Wow that's just... I can't even find the words for how perfect this is it sounds like Carbon Based life forms mixed with epic-ism and maybe a bit of spore? Btw did you sample spore a little because at some parts it sounds familiar (Not that that's bad that's actually very good because if there's anything spore got right it was the music.)
:Q_____________ makes me remember SPORE's Cell Stage music, i love it.........

NickTheNick You can add me to the 2D and 3D artist list if you like. But before I continue working I would like to know what is done, and what is not; I did the Wriggler 3D thingy, and then found out that it was already done. If you would, please, have the kindness to tell me that, I Could star working again inmediately.

Current models that have been done are the wriggler, the cooker, the plater and the defender.

It's in the Thrive dropbox, ask nziswat for access to it.

I believe we should start working on a main menu and maybe an options or credits screen it seems like a reasonable time to do so, The only thing is, is that how will it look, Will it be a classic centerd menu, or a spore style menu with a background and a menu off to the side? I believe we should do a spore style menu with a main menu off to the side and a galaxy to the right with little dots you can use to select your world.

Perhaps that every game starts randomly without the player must choose their planet, but this is my idea.
More than anything I would be interested to know what percentage of production is this beta. We're almost at the end of 2012 and there are no news?

I don't know about the Thrive dropbox, but this is the link to the copy of the icon in my Dropbox account.
Also, I can confirm the link in the OP doesn't work, it is to the potentially dubious site that expires after a week, and it has expired.
EDIT: Fixed.

Very, very, very, very sorry for not posting anything in... well.... ages - but I only have two exams left for the rest of this year and they should be over and done with next week. I will be posting some of the concept art for the cells and I'll possibly get a background done (or at least get it to 90%) during the week after.

------------------------------------------------------------ 9) Producers - Blobs that cluster around rich regions of the soup, transforming the amino acids into proteins. Assimilating them grants the player double nourishment from absorbing Amino Acids, and allows damaged cell components to be replaced.
I made a concept picture of the producer, just one warning, im incredibly bad at art.
The yellow blobs in the cytoplasm are molecules of ATP.

Anyway, let's get to the point: I drew up a couple of the cell concepts from the final draft thread, with multiple versions each, and I would like to know...
How the BELGIUM do you get pictures on here?
I can scan it in, so no problem here if it involves that. But I don't exactly want to set up a Devaintart account at the moment, just to get a picture in here.
I also only have done the first three at the time posting this. The fourth one might be in order, if it's simple enough.

Extremely sorry for the double-post, but when I said I drew up some cells, I meant that the were pencil-on-paper concept art, not meshes of any sort. (In fact, I'm not sure if these designs are mesh friendly)
Also, would Blender be a viable model-making source? I have a smidgen of experience (I've recreated not-very-complicated boss from a video game with it, so I guess I wouldn't have to much trouble.)
And the boss was the "Beady Long-Legs" from the Pikmin series. If I could find the belgiuming file, maybe I could show it. I think I did a pretty good job, considering that it was even textured using a sample of the boss' skin-pattern.

In order to upload images, a good idea is to go to https://servimg.com/ , it is a page for hosting images linked to this forums, and you can use the same account.
For models, we will need to convert them to the ogre format. I believe that blender's format is convertible, but you might want to look it up.
About that, we will need to know what formats and model-making software are accepted, and especially which ones are the best.

It might just be my internet connection, but when I try to go to the website, I get a 404 Not Found message.
Also, I'm not going to do any models at the moment, as a pencil-on-paper is more what I do. I could try to do a menu , but it probably wouldn't be very good.

Guys, it would be preferable if you made sprites or models for the cells. Paper drawings and concept art is nice, but can't be used by coders.

Are there any tasks I haven't included on the original post that you guys can think of?

I think that what you've listed pretty much covers it. Do you want me to find all of the art and compile it into a new thread? It might not show up for a couple of days, however, due to various time constraints that I have to deal with er... other things I need to do.

Sure go ahead, but more importantly see if you can get the artists to work on what I outlined.
