The wiki transfer won't be for weeks to months - it's a rather largish project to set up a full MediaWiki install. You can go ahead and start posting whatever translations you come up with on the current wiki.

Other than that, everyone keep up the good work. I'm still messing around with learning the wiki (curse you, school projects that eat my life...) but I should have the translations I've got up sometime. Probably late May early June, when I no longer have finals breathing down my neck like a rabid sabertooth.

Having a german speaking member in the team is a big win because the German speaking gaming community is the second biggest after the english speaking one.

Mysterious Calligrapher is in charge of the translation team, so she's the one to contact. I'd guess you can start whenever you're ready.

I'll double check, but I think you'll be the first german speaker we have here. By all means, start whenever you feel like it. I understand that German is a very popular second language as well, so having this translated into German can help snag many speakers of foreign languages who also know German.

Edit: About those translated wiki pages. They'll be going up. Sometime.

Bumping because this is semi-important - all the translations that I have are going up today. I put up a page that is going to be a sort of hub for translations, putting up what we have already so that people can more easily read and fix. When we have more than 3/4 pages per language, I'll be trying to integrate them as a parallel wiki, but for now they need to be reviewed for grammar/spelling etc.

Keep up the good work, everyone! At the rate we're finishing concepts, we could have all of this translated before the game is programmed.

What happens when all this is done? Is every change in a concept going to be have to be re-written in every language, to keep them all up to date? And does this mean every change will have to be noted for translation?

Well, most wiki-fied concepts are rock solid, so they will most likely not change. As for the rest, do you know any better way to do it?

Well, if the wiki can record changes, that'd mean we don't have to post 'em. Maybe it could have a notice on the other versions noting the change. But I suppose it'll still need translating by hand keyboard, even if those ideas turns out to be possible (or is already in practice)...

If not, we need to make a 'Wiki pages that have been changed and need the change adding to the other versions' thread (hopefully it won't have a name that long), to record them.

Didn't think of that. For now, no one seems to have done much but the introductory page. And I think some of the pages that will change a lot. (My concepts list, your concepts list...) don't really need to be translated.

For now, if the concept is pretty much set, then we'll translate that, and worry about the new concepts once they're solidified. We also probably need a "the concept of the page has been changed and we should look over any companion pages," tag in there.

Tagging Concept changes is going to be vital to a healthy wiki. Anything else is usually spelling/grammar fixes or adding bits on.

As a side note, guys, don't wait for me on the Sanish translations. School got complicated this semester, and honestly I'm not the most quailfied person here for that. Especially while much of my extra energy is going into Biomes.
