Which one? I'd like to see! Granted, I don't know what it looked like before this started, but still. EDIT: It could be that the user edited that post.

I also see some posts disapearing. Is it a bug or something? :/

Actually, one of my posts from a couple of weeks ago disappeared but I thought nothing of it.

- I've mentioned it before, but the download link often seems to fail for some people because part of the URL is unnecessarily duplicated. This might have something to do with the hyperlink in the release post. For some it repeatedly does this, but others haven't experienced it at all.
For reference, the URL changes from mega.co.nz #!VVYngZLI!Q3imY-eV9kL2W0SIeY2XnhNxDOvdofRbhkrzQqPr1sQ to mega.co.nzmega.co.nz #!VVYngZLI!Q3imY-eV9kL2W0SIeY2XnhNxDOvdofRbhkrzQqPr1sQ . Check that the URL (of the page itself, not the text in the forum post) looks like the first one and not the second. It's working perfectly fine otherwise as far as I can tell.
EDIT: 500 posts! Thanks Oliver! Going to test it. P.S: Glad I helped you reach 500 posts

| Just joined the forum, wondering if and how I can turn in concept stuff to the development team. I haven't really seen anything about changing the cell from a hexagon based creature, so I just scraped together a concept system to make it not look like a honeycomb fell into a pond. I'm not a programmer, so I don't know if it's possible or not, but I might as well have tried. Not really expecting much out of this question honestly. | |

If you want to post your concept stuff, ty A. Putting it up for download somewhere or B. request one of the development team's member's email to send it to them. If you look in the Programming section, you'll find the Thrive Releases as a sticky. Click on that, and version 0.2.3 has a link moopli posted to some de-hexagonification stuff. Look closely at the disclaimers, it's hypertext. It's a youtube video, but not a registered one, so you can only access it from that link.

| Yes, I just join forum and want to help. Is submitting work possible or must I come up with idea and post here to get permission. I have Lua program idea for certain Coroutine usage in organelle structures. Basically the yield function will serve in complement to the resume for certain arguments and amounts of surrounding product. But I must ask question for global variables and such in script. I try posting but not allowed on forum. Very flawed system, similar to capitalism. Power must go to people to post on forum, not moderator. Much questions be asked, but i still glad for project. Very good. | |

Very good. You have to be part of the developer usergroup to post everywhere. To submit an application go to the usergroup page by clicking it's tab at the top of the page, then select the developer usergroup and click the see details button and you'll be added to the list of people Applying to developer. The mods look through the list every so often.

| I noticed there were no (relatively) in-depth videos about cell stage (I might have not looked hard enough though). I was wondering if I could try to make one. Fair warning, I have never made a video before. I can learn though. | |

About gameplay in the current versions, or about the current concept for the stage? If you're talking about the recent versions, then, well, I've seen two videos so far. 1.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVRMU-oIHmg 2.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvIPnYaHndw If you're talking about the current concept, I think an as-of-now recap in video format would be pretty nice. As for you not making a video before, well, we all start somewhere. Should be a fun learning experience. I've heard that it's best to keep a backup at all times, though. Just a little tip.

| Mito, my video would focus on the gameplay mechanics more, not much concept. I would guess that the first video you linked (the Italian one) would be similar, but I don't know Italian. I plan to basically make it a tutorial about how to play the current stage, identifying each of the spawning items in the water and what you need for certain reactions to occur. Just think a tutorial type video. Did you get my message though about my system concept stuff? | |

Did you get my message though about my system concept stuff? Alright, so it'd basically be video #1 in English. Anyway, as for your system concept stuff, uhhh, I'm not sure I'd even know what to do with it if you sent it to me. I'm not really the guy to get this stuff. Unfortunately, NickTheNick posts very early in the morning in my place's time (9:12 pm over here, I see him post at 2 and so). On the bright side, he might have a response ready by morning, so waiting might work. If that doesn't work, you might want to message him like you messaged me.

It's all explained in the latest devblog. The forum's functionality for accepting people into groups is strange and at times difficult to use so none of us mods are particularly fond of using it. - MitochondriaBox wrote:

| Alright, so this question may be coming out of the blue. Is anyone here able to serve as a supervisor for CAS? I would like that some of the work I do here go towards my diploma through CAS, and for that to happen I need someone to be my supervisor. It would be awesome if anyone were willing to do so . | |

| One more question, I downloaded the 0.2.3 version from the link in Thrive Releases, but when I open it up, in the bottom right it says 0.2.2, is this just a typo or is it the wrong version? | |

| I released the 0.2.3 tutorial video (I hope it's 0.2.3, the link for 0.2.3 sent me to that download but it says 0.2.2 in the bottom right corner). To watch it search "thrive 0.2.3 tutorial" on YouTube, and it's around 6 and a half minutes long. I covered pretty much everything I knew about (or think I know about) from simple movement and orientation to cell processes. I know the video quality is... poor... but it's up nonetheless. Please let me know if I missed something or I got something wrong! | |

| I liked the video! 'Twas neat.
The only problems are that you called the carbon dioxide (which is needed during photosynthesis) not useful. It's OK you said that about ammonia, since you don't need reproductase yet.
You also forgot about pressing "P" to add chloroplasts, since the temporary GUI didn't have room for it in the editor. It's OK, though, since it's kind of out of sight anyway. You could add an annotation or something about it if you want to.
Pretty good. It'd actually be kind of nice to have a tutorial video for every release, along with the "help" menu... Well, maybe not -every- release, but still. Maybe we could set up a system for release videos?

Yes, they use carbon dioxide to produce glucose. The chloroplasts are those green organelles you see on those big NPC cells with lots of flagella.
