Drew some concept art

They're supposed to be some tripodian creatures, who lives in some high place were the ground's very harsh, and cuz of that they have long hard(exoskeleton) legs that won't get hurt so easily by the harsh ground.

This is a humanoid creature, concept art i made in like tribe stage or something.

i can do him in color in PS on multiply but i didnt want to waist time if its not good so here it is hope you like it ^^
it has those 2 things on his back that light up in dark .

Seeing how this is called 'The Concept Art Thread' I would like to showcase my first ever GIMP alien attempt on the computer. Its not all that well looking, since I can't draw with a mouse all that well :P, but I still like it.

This is a somewhat quick picture of a creature I imagined called the Ryvvik. They are worm-like invertebrates with an odd crescent shaped head/jaw. They all live in colonies under the rule of one queen Ryvvik. They inhabit the planet Charcus IV, a small tropical world with a relatively low gravity and dense atmosphere. I could have drawn in more details on the body, but meh, I might return to it later to make it look better.

Nice Kingstone :D (BTW I still can't draw well with a mouse either)

Here's my crack at this art thing

This is a gigantic machine that is creating a star. Some very powerful race would use it to be all creationy and stuff.
My other is a concept of that ascension gate, people talk about.

About the size of a small planet, a member of that race would land in the center of that cross and descend to the core of the machine where he/she would be ascended.

Basically, it shows how planetary rings of a rocky world would look like from the ground at various latitudes, so if anyone wants to make any scenes on ringed rocky planets, you could use these pictures as a reference.

but don't forget that this is just concept...

i don't want to be rude or anything, just saying...

if there is no problem for you about making then and putting time on then, than great, it is really awesome and keep making... everything that we can have now, we can use in the future, for tests for example ...

Holy crap Cocogolem, I love your models, especially the first one. Reminds me of the Ryvvik, a species I drew/wrote about before.

I was out camping this weekend, and I did some quick sketches since I still had a bunch of Thrive-related pictures in my head. The first picture is a vehicle I would expect to be seen in the earlier/mid stage of civilization. The next picture is a steampunky inspired aircraft *starship?*. And the last is a sketch of an alien soldier in armor, holding a gun.
